The OPEN GOLF St. Johann Alpendorf course consists of two 9-hole golf courses. It is conveniently located on the Pinzgau main road B 311 directly between Bischofshofen and the district capital St. Johann im Pongau - with a view of the magnificent Tennengebirge mountains.
The golf course is designed for all golfers thanks to the two different courses. Beginners will find the ORANGE Course their ideal playing surface, club and tournament golfers on the BLUE Course. Members appreciate the short journey time to the golf course - the manageable playing time makes for particularly relaxing after-work rounds.
Guests of the Partner hotels get to know the Pongau as an ideal starting point for your golf holiday - the great hotels offer all modern facilities and around 15 golf courses between Zell am See, Schladming and Salzburg can be reached in 60 minutes by car.
The very reasonable annual fees are also affordable for occasional and holiday golfers, and children and young people are very welcome.
Of course, there is also a spacious driving range with covered teeing grounds, a putting green and a pitching green. In conjunction with the ORANGE Course the facility is ideal for all types of training.
The ORANGE Course of OPEN GOLF St. Johann Alpendorf is a 9-hole par 54 course
with nine par 3s between 104 and 204 metres in length;
Men 2.410m | Women 2.410m
As an elaborately maintained 9-hole "Pay & Play" course, it is Also playable without membership and licence to play and serves as a training facility for children, young people, families and beginners, as well as performance-orientated players. However, it is also particularly attractive for the effective but also entertaining improvement of the short game for good golfers with challenging shots into the green.
Beginners can gain experience on the course and parents are welcome to bring their children along as holiday golfers. As a special outdoor activity, we also organise fun tournaments for guests without a licence to play golf, with a prize-giving ceremony after a scoring competition at the hotel as part of a seminar or company outing.

Lovingly designed by James Coughlan with an attractive pond landscape for all golfers, even those with a higher handicap. The overall area is mowed short, the fairways are not too long and the bunker area is deliberately manageable. Thanks to the course rating, tournament golfers will also find their challenge and the driver doesn't have to stay in the bag.
